The Vancouver clinic in town are very good. I don't appreciate the phone service when asking questions. Many times the call center for United Health Care is foreign people who repeatedly use my formal name over & over, not understanding that I asked them to use my nickname. I had some confusion signing up with The Vancouver Clinic at first. It's very good now. Easy to get into my primary care dr quickly.

I have been going to Vancouver clinic now for over a decade and have had no issues. However, in the last 6 months I have had such a problem with getting proper help over the phone. I would not recommend Vancouver clinic solely on the fact that it takes a minimum of 8 calls to get a semi solid answer from the clinic. Itβs impossible to get ahold of my doctors office and when I do get lucky, they somehow cannot pull up any information on my last 8 calls requesting a simple prior authorization. I will say my doctors are amazing but it is just not worth going through all the struggle of the phone calls just to get thrown in a loop where nobody will help. Donβt go to Vancouver clinic. Not worth your time.

Called ahead to tell them I was running late and specifically asked if it was going to be too late to come since this location was 30 minutes away. They said 10 minutes late would ok. When I got there 8 minutes late I checked in ASAP and went straight to the suite. Even though I arrived to check in suite by 8 minutes after and was completing the paperwork provided, the provider Taylor Wright, PT came up to me in the waiting room at 11:12 and told me it was 11:12 and now too late to be seen for a 45 minute appt and she would not shorten the evaluation. I explained to her why I was late and the challenges in being there and she still refused saying it was now 11:12. She offered to see me tomorrow, but why would I see someone who could clearly see this was causing distress and refuse my appt? Horrible experience and will NEVER go to this PT. I wasnβt asking to cut into someone elseβs time, I was fine with a shorter appt. I do take accountability for being late, and I did as much as I could to limit the impact on everyoneβs time by calling ahead. It is their right to refuse service, and mine to call it out as a really horrible action to take against someone just trying their best. She

Update: followed response to Vancouver clinic below and βfilled out their online formβ. Email response to the form this morning confirmed they will not take me as a patient due to who my secondary insured is. If I drop that insurance they will take me but only at the beginning of a new month. original post: If I was rating the medical staff, I would rate at least a 4 star. However, this is a rating for the business. I was informed 2 weeks ago that the Vancouver Clinic will no longer accept me as a patient because of who my secondary insurance carrier is. This has nothing to do with any unpaid bills or any denials. My primary insurance has always covered all services. I was told this was the policy - no exceptions. Honestly since 2020 I have been more and more unsatisfied with The Vancouver Clinic so will take this as a sign to find a better provider. I have used the Vancouver Clinic for about 10+ years of the past 20 years but that did not seem to make a difference. Following up to the Vancouver Clinic response below - I have already spoken to Patient relations twice (including a 3 way call with my primary insurance carrier as they wanted to help me). I am not sure what βleaving

The Vancouver Clinic (especially this location) is such an all around great clinic with caring staff. The urgent care is efficient and has friendly staff... and knowledgeable doctors (Dr. McDaniel). The labs are just across the way for a blood draw. Everything is synced. It's great! They also are so clean, which I very much appreciated when I went in for my overnight sleep study. Definitely bring your own pillow and slippers though. Everything went really well. Natasha was very thorough, kind, and efficient! I felt well taken care of by her and loved that she explained every step of the process really well! Lots of lit parking and everything feels pretty secure. It's also a good location with decent neighborhoods surrounding it. I always recommend TVC if one can go there!
